Excel e O.= L.E.

 

Già da Windows 3.1 è stata inserita la possibilità di usare la OLE (Acronimo di Object Linking and Embedding: Collegamento ed incorporamento di oggetti). Prima di questa innovazione, per inserire in una tabella elettronica un grafico o= d un testo si doveva:

1.     Uscire da Excel minimizzandolo ad icona

2.     Attivare il progra= mma di elaborazione del testo o della grafica

3.     Eseguire il lavoro= e poi salvarlo

4.     Riattivare Excel ed importare quanto fatto.

Utilizzando la <= /span>OLE i componenti esterni, detti oggetti, vengono collegati alla tabella di E= xcel e l'oggetto vi viene incorporato: è Excel stesso ad attivare il programma esterno e a ordinargli di creare un oggetto che possa incorpor= are al momento che si ritorna alla tabella iniziale.

Per far ciò occorre: <= /p>

1.     Attivare il comando Oggetto del menu Inserisci.

2.     Nella finestra = che compare scegliere tra le applicazioni disponibili quella di cui abbiamo bisogno, ad esempio Eq= uation Editor, scrivere l'equazione e alla fine cliccare fuori per tornare al foglio di lavoro importando il lavoro fatto.


 

MACRO

Concetto di macro

Una Macro non è altro che una serie di comandi che l'utente può creare e registrare per rendere più veloci le operazioni che vuol= e effettuare. Questa serie memorizzata prende il nome= di Macro di Comando. In Excel è disponibile il registratore macro, u= no strumento che registra appunto tutte le operazioni che esegue l'utente e= le traduce in una serie di istruzioni, in lingua= ggio visual basic, che vengono trascritte in un foglio apposito chiamato Modu= lo macro. Queste macro consentono di automatizzare varie operazioni quali q= uelle necessarie per formattare un gruppo di celle scegliendo un certo tipo di carattere, le dimensioni e lo stile desiderato.

Registrazione di una macro

Il registratore macro memorizza le operazioni eseguite o i comandi scelti p= er la loro esecuzione. Il suo funzionamento è simile a quello di un com= une registratore che però, invece delle operazioni, registra dei suon= i.
Per registrare una macro si deve:

1.     Scegliere il coman= do Macro dal menu Strumenti, quindi selezionare Registra nuova macro..

2.     Dare un nome alla = macro attinente alla sua funzione

3.     Scegliere eventual= mente delle opzioni quali l'attivazione della macro attraverso una combinazione di tasti (Ctrl+.= ..) e dove effettuare la memorizzazione

4.     Scegliere o.k

5.     Eseguire la azioni che si vogliono registrare

6.     Cliccare sul pulsante Interrompi registrazione nella finestrella che compare

Assegnazione di una macro ad un oggetto grafico

Una volta registrata la macro, possiamo assegnarla ad un oggetto che pu&ogra= ve; essere creato usando gli strumenti da disegno con i quali si può = fare un Bottone della forma desiderata, oppure utilizzare la Casella di Testo= che permette di scrivere un'informazione all'interno del Bottone. Si pu&ogra= ve; anche importare un disegno quale ad esempio un'immagine Clipart di Word ed assegnargli una macro. In ogni caso si deve:

1.     Disegnare l'oggetto e formattarlo come voluto

2.     Cliccarci sopra col tasto destro e scegliere il comando Assegna macro..

3.     Selezionare nella finestra di dialogo che compare la macro da collegare all'oggetto

4.     Cliccare su o.k

Una volta fatte queste operazioni vedremo che, passando sopra al bottone, il puntatore assume la forma di una mano con l'indice rivolto in alto. E' sufficiente= cliccare sul mouse per far eseguire la macro.
Se vogliamo cambiare la formattazione di un bottone = al quale sia già stata assegnata una macro, si deve prima cliccare sul bottone tenendo premuto Ctrl cosicché la macro non può entrare in funzione e poi apport= are le modifiche necessarie.

Assegnazione di una macro alla = barra strumenti

Se un'operazione deve essere ripetuta molte volte, = merita fare una macro ed assegnarla ad un pulsante da porre nella barra degli strumenti. Per far ciò occorre: Cliccare su una zona vuota della barra strumenti col tasto destro del mouse e scegli= ere il comando Personalizza Nella finestra che si apre scegliere la scheda Comandi e selezionare Macro nella colonna Categorie Nella colonna Comand= i cliccare su Pulsante personalizzato e trascinare i= l tutto nella barra strumenti
Cliccare col tasto destro sull'icona che com= pare nella barra strumenti Scegliere il comando Modifica icona pulsante.. o Cambia icona pulsante.. e cliccare su Chiudi Cliccare sull'icona appena fatta: = compare la finestra Assegna macro all'interno della quale sceglieremo la macro da associare all'icona

Eliminazione di una macro

Per eliminare una macro dobbiamo scegliere Strumenti à Macro à Macro, selezionare la macro voluta e cliccare sul pulsante Elimina


 

Tabelle Pivot

Spesso si verifica l'esigenza di riepilogare i dati = di un elenco secondo un ordine particolare, quale ad esempio calcolando i tota= li di gruppi di elementi. Per far ciò è possibile ricorrere alle tabelle Pivot.

Creazione di una tabella Pivot<= /span>

Dopo aver selezionato una delle celle dell'elenco si sceglie Dati-> Report tabella pivot per visualizzare la prima del= le quattro finestre di dialogo dell'autocomposizione . Si clicca quindi su = Avanti per creare una tabella a partire da un elenco di Excel; nella seconda finestra si controlla se l'intervallo dei dati è gi= usto e si clicca su Avanti per aprire la terza, d= ove si imposterà la tabella trascinando i campi nelle varie aree del diagramma. Passeremo infine all'ultima cliccando sul pulsante Avanti e sceglieremo se far comparire la tabella Pivot sullo stesso foglio di lavoro (indicare in tal caso la cella dalla quale inizierà l'angolo superiore sinistro della Pi= vot) o meno e cliccare sul pulsante Fine. Potremo osservare i risultati ottenuti andando a ricercare la cella indicata in precedenza.

Modificare una tabella Pivot

Per modificare una tabella Pivot dobbiamo selezio= nare una cella e scegliere Datià Report tabella pivot: si apre la terza finestra de= ll'autocomposizione con le impostazioni attuali. Poss= iamo ora trascinare un campo nell'area Pagina. È possibile manipolare i dati spostando i campi sul foglio di lavoro: trascinando un campo dell atabella pivot in= un'altra area, si ottiene immediatamente il riepilogo corrispondente.


 

Ipertesti

Cosa è un ipertesto

Col termine Ipertesto si intende un documento elettronico che si può consultare non solo sfogliandolo in modo sequenziale come avviene con un normale libro, ma in cui è possib= ile "navigare" lungo percorsi collegati tra loro secondo le esigen= ze del lettore. Cliccando semplicemente su part= icolari aree sensibili dette Bottoni, si attivano dei comandi che permettono di spostarsi all'argomento o all'immagine a cui i bottoni stessi sono colle= gati. Anche l' Help di Windows è un ipertest= o: basta cliccare sulle parole evidenziate in v= erde sottolineato (alle quali si accede premendo F1 o consultando la guida ?) per far appa= rire l'argomento a cui la parola fa riferimento. Sono evidenti le grandi possibilità che una tecnica di tale tipo offre nella didattica o = in opere di consultazione quali enciclopedie, cataloghi= ....

 

Excel offre = la possibilità di costruire semplici Ipertesti ricorrendo all'uso de= lle Macro.

Come rendere attiva una parola

Per rendere una parola o una frase attiva (fare cio&egra= ve; in modo che il puntatore del mouse assuma la forma di una mano quando vi passa sopra) dobbiamo procedere così:

1.    = ; Con lo strumento Casella di testo costruire un rettangolo della grandezza volut= a

2.     Scrivere il testo desiderato

3.     Selezionare la par= ola che si vuole rendere attiva

4.     Cambiarne il colore (magari usare anche il grassetto) attraverso il comando Formato casella = di testo.. che si visualizza cliccando col tasto destro sulla parola evidenziata

5.     Registrare la macr= o che in seguito sarà associata alla parola

6.     Contornare la paro= la stessa usando lo strumento rettangolo

7.     Cliccare col tasto destro sul contorno del rettangolo e scegliere il comando Form= ato forme.. Nella finestra che si apre = cliccare sulla scheda Colori e linee e scegliere Riempimento= à Nessuno e Lineaà Colore à Stile à Nessuno

8.     Assegnare la ma= cro all'oggetto rettangolo cliccando ancora sul contorno col tasto destro e scegliendo il comando Assegna macro.. Nella finestra che si apre scegliere la macro nell'elenco che compare e cliccare su O.k

Come rendere attiva una parte di un disegno <= /span>

1.     Importare il diseg= no contenete riferimenti numerati (immagine Clipart, fatta in Paintbrush, da scanner..) dopo averlo eventualmente elaborato in Paintbrush

2.     Contornare la zona immediatamente intorno al numero con una cornice rettangolare

3.     Assegnare la ma= cro poi togliere il contorno cliccando sul rettangolo mentre si tiene premuto Ctrl (altrimenti ent= ra in esecuzione la macro) ripetendo le stesse operazioni viste al punto 7 precedente

Struttura generale di un iperte= sto

Si deve tener presente che in fase progettuale la prima cosa da fare &egrav= e; di raccogliere le informazioni e organizzare le stesse in moduli (Nodi) che saranno poi collegati attraverso dei legami (Link).
Nella pagina iniziale scriveremo il titolo dell'argomento trattato con i vari capitoli associati. Ad ogni capitolo sarà assegnata una macro che porterà alla prima pagina del capitolo stesso. A tale proposito si può osservare che è sufficiente spostarsi di almeno 50 celle per cambiare schermata, per cui per esempio il Capitolo 1 lo porremo per si= curezza in A 100 e le pagine di testo o le immagini ad esso associate inizieranno dalla cella A 200 per arrivare fino alla An saltando di 100 in 100. Il Capitolo 2 dovrà iniziare logicamente = 100 celle dopo la fine del precedente capitolo e ciò varrà per ogni capitolo successivo.

 

Per quanto concerne le macro dobbiamo tener presenti i seguenti accorgimenti= :

  • Chiamare Menu la macro che riporta alla = pagina iniziale ( cella A 1) e che perciò sarà sempre la ste= ssa per cui una volta registrata potremo assegnarla direttamente tutte le volte che ne abbiamo bisogno
  • Chiamare Vai n (esempio vai 100) quelle macro che fanno saltare ad una cella particolare
  • Le macro che permettono di ritornare alla pagina precedente non devono rimandare a= lla stessa cella di provenienza (posta in basso a sinistra) ma a n celle precedenti per riottenere la stessa schermata. A tale proposito si = deve osservare che il numero di celle visibili nella schermata dipende dal tipo di scheda utilizzata che dalla risoluzio= ne. Quando si inizia la stesura dell'ipertes= to si deve subito ingrandire il foglio di lavoro a tutto schermo . Ricordarsi di inserire in ogni capitolo una macro di = Menu che riporti alla prima pagina.

Salvataggio del lavoro effettua= to

Per salvare il lavoro fatto si deve:

1.     Creare una Directo= ry nel nostro disco di lavoro assegnandogli un nome inerente l'argomento trattato

2.     Salvare la prima v= olta con il comando Salva con nome.. del menu File=

3.     Tutti i salvataggi successivi saranno effettuati cliccando direttamente sul comando Salva del menu File, oppure cliccando direttamente sul pulsante Salva.

4.     Alla fine si de= vono togliere dal foglio di lavoro, per migliorare l'aspetto estetico, Griglie, Intestazioni di riga e Barre di scorrimento orizzontale e verticale, attraverso il comando Opzioni del menu Strume= nti: nella finestra che si apre scegliere la scheda Visualizza e deselezionare le voci interessate. E' buona norma = inoltre proteggere il documento da eventuali manipolazioni di un lettore distrat= to scegliendo il comando Protezione del menu Strumenti e successivamente Proteggi cartella di lavoro.


 

Nota bene:

 

Per un corretto op= erare merita all'inizio del lavoro schematizzare lo stesso su dei fogli in cui= sono evidenziate la prima pagina ed i vari capitoli= con le pagine di rimando e le celle associate ad ognuna di esse con le rispetti= ve macro.

Come abbiamo già avuto modo d= i dire, le macro vengono scritte in linguaggio Visul Basic. E' possibile scrivere una macro diret= tamente nel modulo ma per far ciò si devono co= noscere elementi di programmazione.
